Nearby we have Wedmore with highly rated pubs and restaurants, shops, and a post office. Cheddar and the famous gorge is only a mere five-minute drive away. With even more activities, eateries, and local services it’s a must-see even just to drive up the gorges 3-mile length and admire the almost 400ft sheer rock walls! this truly is one of England’s most spectacular natural sights.

If you love getting back to nature our site is for you! We are situated in a beautiful secluded apple orchard with views of the stunningly lush surrounding landscape, from the sprawling and rolling Mendip Hills (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). The woodland and foothills of which cascade down to the vast Somerset levels. An immense area encompassing much of somerset boasting spectacular views of the moors, farmland, and rivers. With footpaths and bridleways in every direction, we are ideally situated for walking or cycling.

If you’re willing to venture a little further the historic cathedral city of Wells is a short drive away we especially recommend the cathedral, at between 500 and 800 years old Wells Cathedral has been described as “the most poetic of the English Cathedrals”. Wookey Hole Caves are also a short drive away, perfect for a family day out! Wilkins cider farm is just a short hike away with so much to see and do you really are spoiled for choice. but if you do run out you can always come and meet our resident ponies!
